Colour Affinities

RED

The colour RED is a power colour! It is linked to survival and life-force.

It brings the energy of Warrior Spirit and grounding.

It will give you energy and Mother Earth's strength.

As a healing colour it will stimulate blood flow and warm. This warmth can be used to heal from chills such as colds and flu.

ORANGE

The colour ORANGE is a colour of vitality and creativity!

It is linked to sacral energy such as that of the Womb.

It is also the colour linked to Tantric Energy and can be used to spice up your love life!!!

As a healing colour it can be used alike Red for warmth and will ease tired muscles.

It can also be used by breast-feeding mothers to encourage milk flow.

YELLOW

A colour of the Sun and holy protection.

Used to stimulate the mind.

A colour of divinity in it's golden form.

In healing it is linked to the Liver, the Bladder and other detoxifying organs, therefore the colour could be said to be cleansing!

Cures depression by cheering you up with sunny energy alike the crystal Citrine.

GREEN

A colour of nature and eco living.

Linked to the Earth Element.

Healing colour of fertility.

Emerald light, a green crystal ray is held by Archangel Raphael as sacred to healing.

It is a colour that encourages growth, so beneficial for those beings in the plant world. However should be avoided by those suffering from cancer as it could cause excessive growth in tumours. Here a more useful colour would be purple as this inhibits the growth of tumours and is the colour of the healing crystal, the "cancer stone" known as Sugilite.

BLUE

The colour of the Sky and of verbal communication.

A true colour of the Heavens.

A calm colour that aids sleep.

Hence good for childrens bedrooms.

As a healing colour it is cooling and can be used to stem fevers.

It reduces blood flow and calms the heart. It is a colour of relaxation.

A colour of the crystal Turquoise that aligns you to the energies of Mother Earth and Father Sky. It is grounding and uplifting.

INDIGO

A colour of psychic wisdom!

Deep colour that aids meditation.

The colour of the Ocean and as a tone of Blue linked to the Water Element.

A colour of the "third-eye" and heightens perception.

As a healing colour it will cool alike blue and will alike blue stem blood flow.

Cures mental illness' where overstimulation is an aspect of the problem.

Toning to the muscles. To achieve this you could wear indigo clothes whilst exercising.

 PURPLE

A colour of spirituality!

The colour of nobility and luxury.

Linked to the high Heavens and cleansing on the spiritual plane.

 A colour of magic and used in ritual wear including jewellery as a crystal of purple such as Amethyst, Sugilite or Charoite.

As a colour of healing, it works on the skeletal and nervous systems.

Good for panic attacks as a lilac tone.
